Long and Beautiful Hair Do’s And Don’ts

No matter you are 7 or 27 years old, every girl dreams of long, beautiful, healthy and shiny hair.  In reality, a lot of girls think this is an unachievable dream, but, in my opinion, it all depends on your haircare routine, products you use and some little tips and tricks you have heard from your hairstylist or have read in a magazine.

Together with Madison Reed I want to introduce you with some hair do’s and don’ts for the best hair you can ever get.

-When blowdrying hair, use your fingers instead of a comb. Combs and hairbrushes might make the blowdrying process easier, but your fingers will make less damage than hairbrushes.

-When washing your hair in the morning, try to use some hair oil the night before. Any hair oil makes wonders, but coconut oil will work just as well. Before your bedtime, rub some oil on the ends of your hair, make a loose bun and enjoy your beauty sleep, the next morning wash your hail as usual and your hair will thank you.

-Don’t use the wrong haircare products for your hair type. Coloured hair needs different care than curly hair, and products which suits grey hair won’t be the right products to girls with long and thick hair. Your hair is unique, so it is essential to know exactly your hair type and use products which suits you the best.

Madison Reed has clarified some of the most popular stereotypes about hair in this amazing infographic and I think these tips are great. Most of the do’s and don’ts from the  infographic I try to include in my haircare routine and I have noticed these tips have made my hair more luminous.

I have never heard of Madison Reed before, but recently came across their site! I found some interesting things to try out, for example, this hair color quiz right here you can take to determine the hair colour which suits you the best. I encourage you to take a look at their other products because while I have never tried out anything from this brand, maybe you will find a haircare gem you have been looking for ages.

This is such a good post. I know, long and beautiful hair is so hard to get. I started taking better care of my hair three years ago, and decided to grow it out. It was ear-length. Now, it is several inches past my waist!!!

Wow, your results are amazing! Do you have any secret tips and tricks? Three years are not that long time to grow long hair from ear-lenght.

I know, right? Basically, the only thing I did was to eat all-organic and really healthy. Plus, I probably have something in my genes that makes my hair and nails grow faster. But yeah, eating really healthy, fruits, vegetables, organic, really works!
