January Empties | 2016

DSC_0064For the first time in my life I tried to collect empty bottles from the products I have used up in January, and as you can see in the photo above, it doesn’t happens very fast to me and don’t even include the fact that two of these products are sample size, but at least I tried and, hey, for the first time it couldn’t be that bad.

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray | €29.95

I received this conditioning spray exactly one year ago on my first lookfantastic beauty box ever. I can’t believe how it had took me so long to use it up, even though it is probably my favourite product of my January empties. I did not replace my usual conditioner with this spray, but used it after washing my hair as a detangling product and I must say it worked great. My hair felt smoother and looked shinier after using this spray and in general looked amazing. I love the smell of this product so much, I know I say this about all of my hair products, but this time, I might even give the prize as the “hair product with the best scent ever” to this conditioning spray, I love it THAT much. Though there is one minor downside and that is the price for this product. Receiving this spray in a lookfantatsic beauty box was a great surprise, but if I should spend almost 30 euros for a conditioning spray, I might thing twice or maybe even three times, but who knows, maybe one day, one day.

Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash | €17

This one is another product from the look fantastic beauty box. It is described as a two-in-one rinse-off cleanser and exfoliator for all skin types. I started to use it in summer, and as I tend to navigate between different face products throughout different months, I still had something in the bottle also in January. Overall I am satisfied with this face wash, but I don’t think I would ever repurchase it again. While it worked great in summer, I find that it is too drying for me during the colder months. As I have very sensitive and quite dry skin, I found the little abrasive particles sometimes too harsh for my skin, but I would suggest to try this face wash to someone with oilier skin, as I feel it would work great on cleaning your skin from all of the exec oils.

Planeta Organica Restoring Shampoo De Provence | €2

My mom bought me this shampoo along with the conditioner from the drugstore some time ago and it was officially my go-to shampoo for the past month. Eventually when seeing word “organic” this shampoo caught my biggest attention. While I am not entirely sure how much of ingredients in this shampoo are organic in reality, I loved how this product made my hair feel and I like how the price for it is quite low even for a drugstore product. While I don’t usually feel differences between different shampoos, I think this one made my hair feel softer than others and I would repurchase it again (even though there are gazillion of different hair products I would like to try).

I’m curious about trying th Planeta Organica Restoring Shampoo De Provence. Is this only sold in the UK? Ever since I’ve dyed my hair a couple of times, ive been trying to get my hair back to that nice, glossy, shine glow.
