Winter is all about deep, dark and serious colours. Black coat and dark boots are staples during this time of the year, but at the same, winter shouldn’t be only about the depressing in life: holidays, beautiful snowy landscapes, the crisp air in the mornings and much more make me want to love winter a lot.
While I am not the beauty, nail polish obsessed, I bet some of you girls are crazy about them (the ones who have 10 different tones of a red nail polish) and that is amazing! One week you want some brightness on your nails, other something more neutral but sometimes your level of inspiration might come close to zero and that is why I wanted to help you and made this post. Today I want to give you some inspiration for nail polish combinations made specially for winter.
I love this first combination because of the pop of colour turquoise adds to it. Besides the accent colour I thought pale green and darker green would look great together. I would paint all my nails in these two colours, except fourth finger, which I would paint turquose.
This combination reminds me of a Christmas tree so much. I know, I know, Christmas is already gone and now we have to wait till next year to appreciate the lovely green tree in the middle of the room with all the baubles and fairylights, but I thought these three colours are perfect for winter and would look great during this time of the year.
As my last nail polish combination for winter I chose deep red nail polish colour and a fancy top coat over it. Red nail polishes are my favourites, and I love how easy it is to transfer simple red nail polish to something more unique and original. I think this or similar fancy top coat would look amazing over any kind of red nail polish and this combination would look great throughout the winter.
